Kennedy in Dallas and was when President Kennedy was assassinated. As an advisor to President Lyndon B. Johnson, he played an important role in the completion of the Great Society, the answer to the social unrest of the 1960s, and the agony of the Vietnam War. Although it is a true Oklahoman, Pierson has spent the last 40 years in Washington, DC, in the practice of law. His legal career ran from Watergate, the Cold War, 9 / 11 and the war on terrorism.
